Our Parliamentary journey

From the House of Commons to a National Hiring Strategy.

The UK’s first Hiring Taskforce was announced in the House of Commons in May 2025. With input from more than 400 hiring and talent acquisition professionals, it delivered the country’s first National Hiring Strategy in November 2025.

Many of its 29 recommendations are already moving into action, including the soft launch of National Hiring Metrics in the House of Lords, the Association of RecTech Providers launch in the Churchill Room, and the launch of the Better Hirer in the House of Commons.
