Promoting equality and reducing barriers in hiring for women.
The Modernising Employment All-Party Parliamentary Group held a session on Women in the Workplace, uncovering that challenges for women in work begin even before their career does. From discrimination in the hiring process, to challenges around working while caring for family, to significant gaps in wages and pensions to their male counterparts, the UK has some way to go to address the systemic issues women face in work.
The Better Hiring Institute has worked closely with partners, and supporters in UK Government, to produce this best practice to promote equality and reduce barriers in hiring for women, with aims of making UK hiring the fairest in the world.
